Property deal: listed for $6.2 million in 2019, West Vancouver luxury home sells $4 million

      After almost a year and a price cut of more than $2 million, a West Vancouver home gets a new owner.

      A buyer snapped up the 380 St. James Crescent property for a cool $4 million.

      The July 15, 2020 deal was recorded by fisherly.com.

      The website that tracks real-estate transactions also cited the listing history of the luxury home in the prestigious British Properties area of West Vancouver.

      A terminated listing by RE/MAX Masters Realty on October 2, 2019 placed the price at $6,280,000.

      Another terminated listing by the same realty agency on February 28, 2020 marked the price at $5,680,000.

      Royal LePage Sussex came next, with a terminated listing on April 29 at $5,688,000.

      Another terminated listing followed on June 15 with a price of $5,398,000.

      Next came a June 15 listing of $4,998,000.

      Thirty days after this last listing, the owner sold at $4 million.

      The two-story home features five bedrooms, seven baths, and two kitchens, one of which is a wok kitchen.

      “This home offers the finest in West Coast living,” the listing reads.

      The property boasts of a pool, jacuzzi, and manicured outdoor grounds.

      “The lower level is an entertainer's delight with home theatre, massive rec room finished with full bar and nanny or in-law suite,” the listing notes.
