Saanich police issue appeal for video or photos in connection with shooting incident at BMO branch

      Two men are dead after they engaged in a shootout with the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team.

      It occurred after the two men brandishing weapons had entered a BMO branch in the 3600 block of Shelbourne Street around 11 a.m. on June 28.

      Six officers were injuried, with three sent to hospital. Two of them underwent surgery on Tuesday.

      Three of the officers were with Saanich police and three others were with Victoria police.

      None of the staff or customers was injured.

      Now, Saanich police are hoping that anyone who took photos or videos will turn them over for the investigation.
