Update: Two boys who disappeared after leaving Surrey school have been located

      Update: Surrey RCMP issued a news release at 3:34 p.m. that the two boys who went missing earlier today have been located and are safe.

      Surrey RCMP expressed thanks to the public and social-media users for their assistance.

      A search has been launched for two elementary school students from Surrey who disappeared this afternoon.  

      Surrey RCMP stated that eight-year-old Aiden Poslowsky and seven-year-old Lyndon Esau were last seen around 1:15 p.m. today (September 14)

      They were running southbound on 134th Street, away from Cindrich Elementary School which is located at 13455 90th Avenue in Surrey. 

      They had been playing together at the time they left the school grounds. 

      Search and rescue has been engaged and the school, their families, and police are all concerned for their wellbeing.  

      Poslowsky is described a white male who was last seen wearing a green jacket, black pants with white stripes, and black runners. He has ash-blond hair worn in a Mohawk style.

      Esau is described as a boy of unspecified ethnicity with dark complexion and black hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and Spider-Man runners.  

      Anyone with information about on the whereabouts of these two boys is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477.
