Stabbing incident at North Vancouver library leaves several people injured

      Original article (March 27):

      During an incident that developed at a North Vancouver library this afternoon (March 27), several individuals sustained stabbing injuries.

      North Vancouver RCMP issued a public alert around 3 p.m., stating that several victims were found stabbed inside and outside the North Vancouver District Public Library (Lynn Valley branch), located at 1277 Lynn Valley Road in North Vancouver.

      Officers have taken one suspect into custody, who appears to have been operating alone.

      North Vancouver RCMP stated that there isn’t any ongoing threat to the public.

      Global News reported that B.C. Emergency Health Services was called to the location around 1:45 p.m. and took six people to hospital in unspecified conditions.

      Officers are still searching for any additional victims as the investigation continues on.
