Are we going to see a repeat of the Eastern Conference finals?

That's what some might be wondering after Tampa Bay Lightning came roaring back with a 6-2 home victory in Game 3 of the finals tonight against the Colorado Avalanche.

Colorado won the first won the first two matches at home, incuding a 7-0 victory in Game 2.

An Avalanche win tonight would have made it extremely difficult for Tampa Bay to pull off their third straight Stanley Cup win.

But four Lightning goals in the second period put the game out of reach, delighting their fans.

In the Eastern Conference finals, Tampa Bay lost the first two games on the road against the New York Rangers before storming back to win the next four games.

Tonight, Anthony Cirelli, Ondrej Palat, Nick Paul, Steven Stamkos, Patrick Maroon, and Corey Perry scored for Tampa Bay.

Perry has now scored in the Stanley Cup finals for four different teams.

Gabriel Landeskog sccored both goals for Colorado, with Cale Makar and Mikko Rantanen each posting two assists.

Late in the third period, Tampa Bay suffered a scare when star Nikita Kucherov left the game after being crosschecked by Devon Toews.
