Vancouver investigators are seeking to speak with those who have information about a human trafficking operation, involving the sexual exploitation and victimization of underage females, that has been taking place in recent years.

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) stated today (July 16) that in 2019, when police became aware of underage females being recruited and trafficked, the VPD launched an investigation into the operation.

As a result of the investigation, three male suspects have been charged—Elkan Vyizigiro (known as Lavish or LK), Meaz Nour-Eldin (known as Streets), and a young offender—with trafficking a person under the age of 18 years and receiving material benefit resulting from trafficking in a person under 18 years.

Investigators are seeking to speak with witnesses about this case and anyone with information is asked to VPD detectives at 604-717-0603 or Crime Stoppers, to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477.
