The record of most expensive home sold in Vancouver in recent days goes to a Shaughnessy mansion.
The luxury residence at 4469 Pine Crescent sold for $9,125,000.
According to B.C. Assessment records, the home was built in 2018.
The provincial assessment agency placed the 2020 value of the property at $5,756,000.
The assessment is broken into: land, $4,234,000, and residence, $1,522,000.
The sale was tracked by Zealty.ca, a real-estate information site operated by Holywell Properties.
Based on data compiled by the online site, the property has been a money maker.
On January 22, 2016, the property was sold for $6,188,000.
That sale was two years after it was purchased on January 28, 2014 for $4,308,000.
The 4469 Pine Crescent mansion boasts of seven bedrooms and eight baths.
Each room has its own bath.
The property was listed by LeHomes Realty on August 10, 2020 for $12.8 million.
After 99 days on the market, it sold on November 17.
According to Zealty.ca, the sale was reported on December 1.
The listing described the property as a “luxurious custom built world class mansion in most prestigious Shaughnessy area”.
Features include a recreation room with wet bar, wine cellar, home theatre, and “designer landscaped garden”.
