Life, Love, Loss

Singin' in the Rain presents Soprano Sharon Harms at Pyatt Hall

Life, Love, Loss - March 8 at 7:00pm

"Superb, luscious-toned, extraordinarily precise and expressive, and dramatically committed"--  the New York Times

Soprano Sharon Harms with Joan Forsyth and classical guitarist William Anderson.

George Crumbs "Apparition", a setting of Whitman's When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloomed, is the heart of Harms' program, artfully matched with works by BC composers Frank Brickle, Stephen Chatman, Rodney Sharman, and Jocelyn Morlock.

Guitarist William Anderson joins Sharon Harms in J. Benjamin Jones' Garcia-Lorca settings.

On March 4, Harms and Forsyth will give a preview, appearing on UBC's  "Wednesdays at Noon", a free concert series held at the UBC Music Building.
