William Shatner has boldly gone where no member of the Star Trek cast has ever gone before.

Today, the Canadian actor who played Capt. James Kirk became the oldest person who's ever ventured into space.

It occurred when Shatner took a brief visit to the final frontier aboard a rocket owned by the travel company Blue Origin.
