Come take to the streets as part of this lively, youth-driven celebration of climate action! The 6th annual Earth Day Celebration is a family-friendly parade and festival with music, entertainment, special guests, creative art and much more.

Featuring guest speakers Grand Chief Stewart Philip, Carleen Thomas, Audrey Siegl, Bill Xu, and Peter McCartney and with live music from Kalilah Rampanen, Luke Wallace, The Nautical Miles and Eschoir. Organized by student group Youth For Climate Justice Now, with support from the Wilderness Committee and other environmental groups.

Parade begins at Commercial and Broadway at 1:00 pm and the festival continues at Grandview Park from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, Sunday April 24th.

This event is being held on unceded Coast Salish Territory of the Xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations.
