Remington Cooney offers a presentation designed to help practitioners further integrate contemplative practices into their busy, urban lives. At a time when a haze has descended on our modern world, we need tools to live our lives with clarity and skilful attention, in order to be able to walk a path that’s true to both ourselves, and others. Drawing upon age-old Daoist and Zen teachings, this workshop aims to equip practitioners with the necessary ‘wisdom tools’ to establish an engaged mindfulness practice both on and off the cushion.

The first part of this session will involve a ‘how-to’ instruction for practicing seated meditation, followed by a guided music meditation practice, with the accompaniment of guitar virtuoso, Samuel Romero.
