The opening of the exhibition “Invisible” will take place with the artist in attendance on Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a wine and cheese reception at Le Centre culturel francophone de Vancouver.

From January 19 to March 3, 2017, Le Centre culturel francophone de Vancouver is pleased to host the exhibition “Invisible” by painter Jérôme Baco (Jérôme Bacconnier). This work, intrinsically connected to the eponymous literary publication, offers viewers a personal reflection through a series of portraits in Indian ink on wood depicting revolutionaries, dissidents, militants and activists. The leitmotif of the works is the human being, imperfect, natural, raw and without artifice, portrayed with a sincere love of what we are and what we reveal.
