Crowdfunding campaign, “One House Many Nations,” builds homes for First Nations. The campaign’s impact has been both symbolic and real, and has brought much-needed attention and awareness to the epidemic of homelessness that affects Canadians and Indigenous peoples, and particularly women.

Sylvia McAdam is a citizen of the nêhiyaw (Cree) Nation. She is one of four founders of Idle No More, the grassroots movement for Indigenous sovereignty and right to land and resources, and equitable and sustainable communities.

Jacob Mans is an architect living in Minneapolis. His work focuses on the influence of large-scale environmental systems on small-scale building performance.

Sheelah McLean is an anti-racist teacher, advocate, and a co-founder of the Idle No More movement.

Anita Munn is the co-owner of Mini Homes of Manitoba, custom designers and builders of tiny homes on wheels.

Alex Wilson, Neyonawak Inniniwak from the Opaskwayak Cree Nation, is the director of the Aboriginal Research Education Centre at the University of Saskatchewan.

Native singer-songwriter, Pura Fé, will perform during the reception to follow.
