The Robert Lynds Gallery presents the work of Jaedan Chayce Leimert in his solo exhibition, ‘in advance of’. Leimert’s practice examines the transient quality of memory through print, photography, and sculpture. Leimert explores the illusive nature of remembering, depicting world tragedies with fragile materials, activating the viewer in the struggle to see and decipher the work. His sculptural work speaks to past and present through the interpretation of action and semiotic understanding.
Leimert’s work was shown in RLG’s first annual Frontlines Competition, and has been exhibited locally and internationally.

Established in 2012, located in the armoury district in Kitsilano, Vancouver, the Robert Lynds Gallery has advanced as an noticeable participant in the Vancouver art community. RLG is an intimate space and has been recognized for its compelling exhibitions. Bridging the east side community, Robert Lynds Gallery represents a roster of established contemporary artists who demonstrate analytic art practices. The gallery publishes the magazine, MAGTEAR, which concentrates on attracting and inspiring diverse audiences in its dedication to advocating the advancement of knowledge pertaining to the arts. RLG also juries, Frontlines, which supports and encourages the involvement of members within the emerging art scene, fortifying its staying power as a prominent west-side gallery.
