Canada’s largest Hong Kong cultural celebration, a diverse event held at North Vancouver’s Shipyards, returns in May.

The fair aims to gather the diasporic Hong Kong community and those passionate about preserving Hong Kong’s unique culture. Expect exhibitions, educational booths, live performances, and interactive games suitable for all ages.

Explore enlightening exhibitions, including From Hong Kong to Canada Since 1885, curated by the Chinatown Storytelling Centre. The show delves into the complex and rich history of how Hong Kongers ended up immigrating and residing throughout Canada. Immerse yourself in VR and AR to experience Hong Kong’s lost spaces and traditions.

The onsite market offers many Hong Kong cultural products, from traditional crafts to modern souvenirs. The event boasts over 60 booths from local Hong Kong artisans, creators, and small businesses. See what’s in your future with fortune-telling, learn how to master mahjong at participating booths, or head to the open outdoor stage to take in various artists and performers while indulging in street food from the different stalls onsite.
