BC Buddhist Festival will be held March 30 at the UBC Doug Mitchell Sports Arena. It's a free family friendly event full of colour and spectacle, with a display of rituals, customs, music, crafts and vegetarian food. Many hands are making beautiful lotus lanterns which will be used is a prayer walk for Nepal at the end of the day. Money raised will go to Children's Hospital, VGH and UBC Palliative Care Fund - and a table will be set up for Nifon, a Nepali based charity.
