Translucent Scapes
Translucent Scapes comes from the memories of the many Western Canadian landscapes I have had fleeting glances of throughout my travels. My love of colour and depth of impasto combine to express these scapes with structure and harmony and are exfoliated on to the canvas with a direct application.
These are intimate expressions from the soul.
Gem like translucence combined with rugged application transposing real structure into juxtaposed colour and form harmonies.
