Poisonous Newt Gingrich wins Georgia primary

    1 of 1 2 of 1

I wrote this headline because the Republican presidential candidate is probably the most vicious polemicist in politics and CNN has reported that he just won the Republican primary in Georgia.

After writing the headline, I decided to Google "poisonous Newt Gingrich". This led me to a commentary by British broadcaster Martin Bashir, who's best known for his devastating documentary about Michael Jackson.

In the video below, Bashir explains how Gingrich, who hails from Georgia, uses poisonous language to attack his opponents.

Newt Gingrich can teach Stephen Harper some things about political rhetoric.

A sad commentary on those societies that look to leaders like George Bush,Gingrich,Netanyahu as opposed to peacemakers and those that bring people together.

The more primaries this Lizard wins, the better.

That just mean more votes for Obama in the real election.

I think it was a given that he'd take Georgia, though he's not fairing as well elsewhere.

I'm wondering, when did republicans get so ... bizarre? Aside from Ron Paul, and to a lesser degree Romney, I was astounded at some of the things these people have been saying since the 'race' began. Is it just me or did the right seem a bit more moderate years ago?

I like Newt's idea about going to the moon. He should be stuffed into a rocket and blasted to the other side of our nearest satellite.

Isn't odd that he looks a little like Harper and acts like him to, of course in a more bombastic way and sense. What has happened to our politics when outrageous remarks and lies are considered substance for a debate. Wow, the REPUGNANTS have no bottom! Neut confirms that everytime he opens his mouth.

Poisonous is a term that applies to 99.99% of American politicians.

"A fish always start rotting from the head" (Mao).

What a great quote, but it is also claimed by the Russians, Turks, Greeks prior to Mao...it is universal!
