In Vancouver, Coldplay makes crowd go wild

Okay, it's now apparent that these wristbands are indeed crowd-control devices. Because as soon as Coldplay came out, everyone's wristband started flashing. And the crowd, as they say, went wild.

Actually, a stadium full of multi-coloured flashing lights, combined with rainbow-hued lasers and the band's Dayglo-spattered gear, makes for a pretty awesome sight.
