Great Shot, love the fog and the twisted tree siloettes. Are these red lanterns for Chinese New Year, or red umbrellas on the fly?

Thanks for the post. They are umbrellas put in several trees at Spanish Banks by, apparently, four anonymous individuals celebrating Vancouver's relationship with precipitation. (They like the rain, as should we all.) The guerrilla installation is titled Rainblossom Project, and there were at least 16 umbrellas a few days ago.

What....??? 16 umbrellas? that is a shame when people vandalize such joyful art installations....
I really love when people do these kind of art display in public places... took some great shot last year too... at that time with snow and sun :-)
