Live Nation has announced that American rock group Zappa Plays Zappa will perform at the Commodore Ballroom on Sunday, November 29.

Since 2006, Dweezil Zappa has led his Grammy Award-winning group through more than 500 worldwide performances and over 275 compositions spanning the breadth of his father's deep catalog.

"I think my father's music deserves the chance to be discovered by a contemporary audience," says Zappa.

"His creativity and discipline is inspirational. I think this is an appropriate time and place to inherit and adopt Frank Zappa as the musical figurehead for Generation Z. Many facets of his music are bold and unconventional and it feels to me like it's from the future. Generation Z should be bold and unconventional."

Regular tickets for the 19+ show are priced at $49.50, and VIP tickets are priced at $79 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale on this Friday (June 26) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
