      On July 15, 8 pm, the Indian Summer Festival presents Maestro Amjad Ali Khan and his sons at the Orpheum Theatre (601 Smithe).

      The classical Indian musician and sarod master will perform a concert with his two sons Amaan and Ayaan. The three musicians will create a 57-string symphony orchestra.

      Khan, son of Indian music legend Haafiz Ali Khan, gave his first recital at age six and has recorded dozens of albums.

      He has also received awards like the UNESCO Award, the Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters from the French government, and the government of India's Padma Vibhushan.

      Tickets for the Strings That Bind Us range from $36.75 to $109.75 and can be bought online in advance.
