Vancouver celebrates National Dog Day on Instagram

      It's National Dog Day, which is creating quite a stir over Twitter and Instagram.

      The annual celebration of all things canine was created in 2004 by animal advocate Colleen Page.

      She also founded National Puppy Day, National Mutt Day, and National Cat Day.

      Here in Vancouver, people are using social media to spread the word about their pooches.
