Quebec City’s L’orchestre d’hommes-orchestres presents Cabaret Brise-Jour (Shattered Cabaret) at the Cultch (1895 Venables Street) from April 2 to 6.

From Berlin cabaret, to Parisian nostalgia, to New York’s Broadway, Cabaret Brise-Jour conjures Kurt Weill’s dramatic and musical world through an eight-piece orchestra. The performance chooses a variety of Weill’s songs from his operas and sets them to a series of tableaux vivants.

Cabaret Brise-Jour features Danya Ortmann, Philippe Lessard-Drolet, Lyne Goulet, Simon Elmaleh, Simon Drouin, Jasmin Cloutier, Gabrielle Bouthillier, and Bruno Bouchard.

Tickets to performances start at $31 and can be purchased online in advance or by calling 604-251-1363.
