The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors CelticFest Vancouver's St. Patrick's Day Parade

      This Sunday, March 13, CelticFest's most popular event, the 12th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, hits the streets of downtown Vancouver. 

       Drawing thousands of spectators, the parade starts at 11 a.m. and flows north along Howe Street from Davie to Georgia.

      Parade participants include marching pipe and drum bands, Celtic music groups, acrobats, drill teams, and Irish and Scottish youth dance groups.

      The party continues at the Celtic Village on Granville Street between Nelson and Robson.

      Running March 12 and 13, the Village will feature dance, live music performances, food, and shopping.
