Coastal Jazz announces new shows, including Bill Frisell

Coastal Jazz has announced new jazz concerts coming to Vancouver.

American jazz guitarist, composer, and arranger Bill Frisell will be performing two solo concerts at the VSO School of Music's Pyatt Hall on April 9.

The Jerry Granelli Trio and a local children's choir will be performing music from A Charlie Brown Christmas at the Kay Meek Centre on December 9.

Finally, Frankie's Jazz Club will host a series of concerts celebrating jazz legends. Participating artists include the Steve Kaldestad Quintet (November 17), the Chris Gestrin Quartet (November 18), the David Sikula Quartet (November 19), the Jaclyn Guillou Quartet (November 20), and the Capilano University A Band (November 21).
