The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors MACHINENOiSY’s Time Machine

The Dance Centre and the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival present MACHINENOiSY’s Time Machine at the Scotiabank Dance Centre (677 Davie Street) from February 4 to 7 at 8 p.m.

The ambitious new creation by the Vancouver-based contemporary dance company brings together seven professional dancers and eight children.

Created by co-artistic directors Delia Brett and Daelik, Time Machine is a thought-provoking and original work in collaboration with sculptor and costume artist Natalie Purschwitz.

Time Machine contrasts the innate knowing of children with the acquired knowledge of adults and examines how time and experience shape and distort our bodies.

Tickets to Time Machine are $36 and can be purchased online in advance.
