From March 10 to 18, CelticFest Vancouver takes over various Vancouver venues.

Founded in 2004, CelticFest Vancouver celebrates all things Celtic, as well as the cultural cornerstones of community, diversity, family, and civic pride.

Although the festival features a wide range of Irish music, dance, sport, and art activities, the main focus this year is on the Celtic Village, which takes place March 17 and 18 at Robson Square.

The event will feature live Celtic music and dance, food trucks, family activities, artisan vendors, the Mill Street beer garden, as well as music by fusion band Delhi 2 Dublin and rockers the Paperboys. Other performers include Tiller's Folly, Wheat in the Barley, Pat Chessell Band, Eire Born Irish Dancers, Simon Fraser University Pipe Band, North Shore Celtic Ensemble, Jocelyn Petit Band, and O'Brien Dancers.

Other highlights are an Irish sports-night gala (March 10), plays Belfast Girls (March 15-18) and Almost a Stepmom (March 14-18), the CelticFest Ceilidh (March 18), and performances by Sharon Shannon (March 12) and Vancouver Welsh Men's Choir (March 17).
