The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors Home

    1 of 3 2 of 3

From May 3 to 6, Home takes over the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre (181 Roundhouse Mews).

Presented by Some Assembly Theatre, the play shares a powerful vision of hope from local diverse youth in search of a healthy home.

In Home, when a favourite local hangout is threatened with a corporate takeover, two young, female First Nations managers must rally the regulars to save the place they call home.

The play includes representations from Ojibway, Chinese, Greek, French, Kurdish, Serbian, and the Kwakwaka’wakw Nation cultures.

To keep in touch with Some Assembly Theatre, check out the group's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.

Admission to Home is free of charge, but reservations can be made by calling 604-603-5247.
