Canadian folk-jazz power-trio the Jessica Stuart Few is turning heads internationally with its innovative songwriting, stunning three-part harmonies, and an unprecedented take on the traditional Japanese koto (13-stringed harp).

Performing and recording alongside Liam Smith on double bass and Jon Foster on drums, Stuart and her long-time band mates are all vital players in Toronto’s indie music community and are well-known across Canada and abroad.

The Few’s instrumentation is truly one-of-a-kind and their distinctive, charming sound is a blend not heard anywhere else. In this special hometown show, the Few will be joined by musical guest Wendy Bross Stuart, an accomplished koto player and ethnomusicologist, and also Jessica’s mother.
