The unique Lost 80’s Live Tour – featuring new wave bands Wang Chung, Naked Eyes, Animotion and When in Rome UK – will include a date at the River Rock Casino Resort on Thursday, October 15, 2015.

Formed in London in 1980, Wang Chung – consisting of frontman Jack Hues and bassist Nick Feldman – ended up achieving their greatest popularity in the US and Canada having released a total of five albums. Their catalogue of hits include “Dance Hall Days”, “Don’t Let Go”, “Wait”, “To Live and Die in L.A.”, “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” and “Let’s Go!”.

Originally members of the short-lived British band Neon, singer Pete Byrne and keyboardist Rob Fisher formed Naked Eyes in 1982. The group’s first hit single was a cover of the Burt Bacharach/Hal David standard, “Always Something There to Remind Me” which was featured on their 1983 debut album, Burning Bridges. Additional hits include “Promises, Promises”, “When the Lights Go Out” and “(What) In the Name of Love”. With the death of Fisher in 1999, the duo became one as Byrne continues to carry the name performing to sold-out audiences worldwide.

Founded in Los Angeles in 1983, Animotion released their debut self-titled album the next year. The album spawned the chart-topping single, “Obsession” along with “Let It Go” which also a hit for the band. Their follow-up album, Strange Behavior was released in 1986 and produced the hit singles, “I Engineer” and “I Want You”. Later hits include “Room to Move” and “Calling It Love”.

English group When in Rome UK arrived on the new wave scene in 1988 with the release of their self-titled album. The album featured the hit singles, “The Promise” – which peaked at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 – and “Heaven Knows”.
