CB2 brings funky home décor to Robson

If the taste of Swedish meatballs and Ikea’s DIY attitude just isn’t going to kick it anymore, you may want to check out Vancouver’s first CB2 store (1277 Robson Street), which opens Saturday (February 18).

Located on the ground floor of the Pacific Palisades, which was recently renovated from a hotel into rental apartments, CB2 is part of Chicago’s Crate & Barrel chain. This Vancouver location is the home furnishing and décor brand’s second store in Canada after opening in Toronto.

Similar to Ikea, CB2 carries all types of furniture to fill your living room, kitchen, bedroom, and office. They also carry bed linens, such as organic sheet sets (starting at $99) and French-Belgian linen sheet sets (starting at $199); bamboo bath towels ($4.95 to $29.95), funky area rugs (starting at $179), floor and table lamps (starting at $59), and sleek kitchen accessories, like a set of three stainless steel cheese cutters ($15).

The shop also houses unique gifts for that person on your list that seems to have everything: how about clothespin chopsticks ($5) or a tic-tac-toe set made from iron ($45)?
