Walking shrubs and stiltwalkers add flair to Virgin Fest

Warning—there are four walking shrubs on site, in addition to stiltwalkers who look like they got lost on the way to Parade of the Lost Souls.

If you are stoned, they will terrorize you.

Whoever says k-os is done has no idea of which they speak.

Oh, and where did all the people suddenly come from?

Georgia Straight music editor Mike Usinger is filing items of interest from the Virgin Fest at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. There will be comprehensive coverage in the print edition of the Georgia Straight, which will be distributed across Metro Vancouver on Thursday (July 30).
