Good news for Virgin Festival ticket holders who braved lightning storm

After a wild day and evening of music at the Virgin Festival at Deer Lake Park yesterday (July 25), the show was cut short because of a lightning and thunder storm before Roots could take the stage.

However, fans will still get a chance to see Roots if they save their tickets. The Virgin Festival has announced a makeup show, and those who attended yesterday's event will get in free.

Details will be announced at virginfestival.ca.

In addition, day one ticket holders will also be allowed to join the party for day two, according to a news release issued by Hill and Knowlton on behalf of the festival. It takes place today (July 26) at Deer Lake Park.
