If you peek behind the curtain, there’s a lot of hard graft that goes into developing new performances.

To show off what the young movement artists of Modus Operandi are working on, New Works is presenting Modus Operandi: Works In Development at the Roundhouse on March 24.

Dancers will present a mixed program of works, from Out Innerspace’s internationally-renowned choreographers David Raymond and Tiffany Tegarthen. It’s the company’s first work since 2019’s powerful Bygones, which premiered at Bulgaria’s One Dance Week festival and had performances in Germany, Quebec, and Vancouver.

New works from guest choreographers will also be displayed, giving audiences a glimpse of how dynamic compositions come together and what goes into learning to be a professional dancer today.

      Modus Operandi: Works in Development

      When: March 24, 3pm

Where: Roundhouse Community Centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews, Vancouver
