The Gravity of Center, a new dance by Montreal’s RUBBERBANDance Group, runs at the Cultch (1895 Venables Street) from February 19 to 23 at 8 p.m.

The Gravity of Center is an intensive, dynamic performance where modern hip-hop meets classical ballet. The piece is choreographed by co-artistic director and founder Victor Quijada, and is RUBBERBANDance Group’s ninth production. Through syncopated rhythms and physical prowess, the Gravity of Center explores the blurred lens of urban, contemporary, and classical dance forms.
