NPA contributors helped dress and drive mayoral candidate Kirk LaPointe
Looking over the NPA's financial-disclosure form, I was struck by a couple of entries under the headline "In Kind Donations".
On November 15, which was election day in Vancouver, there's an in-kind contribution of $3,000 from artist Shannon Belkin for "clothing" for NPA mayoral candidate Kirk LaPointe.
You can see a photo above of the suit that LaPointe was wearing for his concession speech that evening.
On the same day, there's another in-kind entry from Steve McGrandle for $8,756.69 "for driving Kirk LaPointe—PD by Savary Management".
There's no mention in the NPA's statement as to the type of vehicle.
A Lexus? A Range Rover? A Lamborghini? The suspense is killing us.

Nice suit, but Kirk should have shopped at Gregor's favourite clothier: Winners.

Is there a sense that the other parties have reported "in kind" donations? If COPE, or Vision Vancouver, or Green Party candidates received donations of clothing or services or free room rentals, do we know if these are reflected in their disclosures?
