Louis CK SNL monologue lights up social media
Back in 2008, Georgia Straight comedy writer Guy MacPherson wrote an article entitled "Louis CK loses fear of offending".
"These days, CK tries not to censor his impulses," MacPherson wrote.
It led CK to do a bit about how long it took after the 9/11 attacks for people to resume masturbating.
That was the turning point releasing his comedic inhibitions.
Last night, CK lit up social media with his standup routine during Saturday Night Live in a routine that covered everything from child molesters to racism to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Check out the video above and ask yourself: did he go too far this time?

Classic Louis CK! He wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't offend anyone.

The obsession with celebrities... I was wrong. The GS truly is a newspaper.
Which part was too far exactly?

This was comparatively tame and all his points made sense to me.
I wish Bill Hicks was still with us.

He carries it off like the wise and professional star he is. Of course everyone loves it and those who might actually be offended are the usual suspects and who cares? Heroic performance all the same and he deserves heaps of praise for doing society a favour. Love it!

I've always howled at his stand up but not this time. There is nothing funny about sexual abuse. Unnecessary eyebrow raising antic.

This is about at the same level as his "Louis CK visits the Catholic church" from several years ago which was pretty insane but quite entertaining.
