The jury continues deliberations in the trial of two former heroin addicts accused of plotting to plant bombs at the B.C. legislature.

Surrey residents John Nuttall and Amanda Korody face terrorism-related charges after police alleged that they hoped to kill people celebrating on Canada Day in 2013.

Justice Catherine Bruce has instructed jurors that motive must be a key consideration.

The defence alleges that the couple were manipulated by the Mounties, who chauffeured them to several stores to buy pressure cookers that would be used in the plot.

Below, you can see video that was presented in court during the trial.

Let me get this strait... 240+ RCMP officers spend over 5 months and millions, if not tens of millions of dollars to entrap 2 dim-witted heroin addicts on welfare meanwhile there's a drug gang drug war being raged in the same neighborhood?

This all started because Mr. Nuttall was going around to local mosques and asking if they has any AK-47's he could borrow. Naturally they told him to take a hike and called the cops who should have just showed up at his door and told him to knock it off because they were watching him. Instead the opted for his travesty...

I'd like to know who's in charge of setting such terrible priorities!

Not stupid enough to print my name.

      Disgusting waste of taxpayers dollars.
These sadly misguided junkies needed intensive counseling not this ridiculous set up.
      Shame on the R.C.M.P.
