The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the Korean Cultural Heritage Festival

On August 8, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Korean Cultural Heritage Festival takes over Swangard Stadium (3883 Imperial Street, Burnaby).

Presented by the Korean Cultural Heritage Society, the festival celebrates the Korean community as well as Canada's multiculturalism.

Highlights of this year's event include Korean tightrope walking (jultagi) demonstrations, a K-Pop competition and concert, Korean art exhibitions, a kids' corner, tae kwon do demonstrations, and traditional Korean festival games.

Admission to the Korean Cultural Heritage Festival is free.
