Gastown Shop Hop serves up cotton candy, champagne, and balloons

We checked out the Gastown Shop Hop last night, where stores and restaurants were serving up both treats and style.

The biannual event took place yesterday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. with more than 40 shops and 11 restaurants participating. We followed the bundles of peach balloons to find special store promotions, music, drinks, and delectable eats.

L’Atelier Home gave out free cotton candy and hosted an Instagram contest for a chance to win a $50 gift card to use at their stores. Durant Sessions had music and champagne with a special promotion of 20 percent off all products.

It was a night of mixing and mingling, shopping and dining. Shoppers who purchased from any of the participating stores would receive a special voucher to use at participating Shop Hop restaurants.
