      MUSIC

      American pianist David Witten performs music by Tcherepnin, Chopin, and Castelnuovo-Tedesco. Held at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

      The SFU Concert Orchestra and Amnesty International SFU present an evening of musical highlights from film. Held at the SFU Theatre.

      Jonathan Girard conducts an ensemble of UBC music students and tenor J. Patrick Raftery in a performance of Schubert's Winterreise. Held at the Roy Barnett Recital Hall.

      Led by trumpeter, composer, and educator Alan Matheson, the VCC Jazz Orchestra will play big band hits from the 20s. Held at the West Vancouver Memorial Library.
