Jacqueline Clark, an accountant from Abbotsford, B.C., was the latest MasterChef Canada homecook to be eliminated from the TV cooking competition.

On the April 17 episode, the top nine contestants were divided into three teams which had to sell handmade sausages at an Oktoberfest celebration in Mississauga, Ontario.

The two teams that didn't win the challenge faced a pressure test in which they had to prepare fresh ricotta cheese to be used in handmade ravioli and gnudi.

Unfortunately, Clark was selected to be sent home by judges.

However, one of the two British Columbians who made the final top 10 managed to remain in the competition: Matthew Astorga, a digital design consultant from Pitt Meadows.

The next episode airs on CTV on Sunday (April 24) at 7 p.m.
