Justin Bieber still moves freely between Canada and the U.S. after more charges laid
Singer Justin Bieber, unlike many Canadian marijuana smokers, is free to continue crossing the border into the United States.
That's despite new charges being laid against him.
The sometimes obnoxious pop star has been booked for assault and dangerous driving after a collision between an ATV and a minivan in the Township of Perth, Ontario.
Following the acccident on August 29, there was reportedly a confrontation between drivers of both vehicles. Bieber hails from the nearby town of Stratford.
Earlier this summer, he pleaded no contest to a charge of vandalism after egging his neighbour's house in Los Angeles. It's an understandable crime for a 12-year-old boy, but for a 20-year-old adult? Come on, Justin.
He also pleaded guilty to careless driving and resisting arrest after being busted in Miami Beach in January. The video from that one didn't seem overly serious, but maybe the cop didn't like seeing a 19-year-old punk behind the wheel of a Lamborghini.
These two earlier incidents prompted some irate Americans to launch a petition drive to have the Biebs deported back to Canada.
The Obama administration has promised to respond to petitions with more than 100,000 signatures.
In the case of the deport-Bieber campaign, however, the statement wasn't very satisfying to all those Justin haters.
"Sorry to disappoint, but we won't be commenting on this one...." the White House said. "So we'll leave it to others to comment on Mr. Bieber's case, but we're glad you care about immigration issues."
It's a good thing Bieber hasn't admitted to smoking marijuana when crossing the border.
Otherwise, he just might be declared persona non grata in the United States, which has happened to other Canadians.
After all, that's the Eric Holder way of keeping America safe for Americans.

If Biebs ever gets seriously hurt or seriously hurts someone, I hope we put the blame squarely where it belongs: his so-called parents.
Celebrity is a powerfully distorting, wrenching thing that probably you and I can't actually understand but we see enough of its effects to appreciate that it mutilates the subject in many if not most cases.
Sure, a Scarlett Johansson or Mandy Moore or Ryan Gosling might survive in pretty good shape, but Jodie Foster and Natalie Portman have talked about the repugnant older creep man factor (basically, what pretty girls get times a zillion), and that can't be good. Consider the incinerating effect it had on Michael Jackson's happiness and moral compass. Consider the bulging child celeb death file.
Yeah keep passing judgement. Gloat away. Biebs is an ass adult but he was a kid a couple of years ago, a kid who needed guidance and instead had promotors, leech hangers-on, and that's just his so-called family. Fuck them.

It's all in the past now. People make mistakes. Everyone deserves a second chance. Ford more years !
Oh. Shoot. Wrong person.....Easy to confuse the two...Except that Ford is a quarter of a century older with kids.

What is a passport and what is citizenship?
No one can explain it to me.
Sure there are groups called governments that tell you can't do something using passports or citizenships as an excuse, but on what grounds?
There have been internal passports enforced and international passports ignored.

Time his superstar status doesn't impact his sentence. Lock him up, take away his ability to move freely from Canada to the U.S. and give him a taste of reality.
