The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the Rendez-vous French Film Festival

From February 1 to 12, the Rendez-vous French Film Festival takes place at various Metro Vancouver venues.

Presented by Visions Ouest Productions, the event showcases 50 short, medium, and feature-length films, as well as special programs with invited guests and a gala evening hosted by comedian Jacques Lalonde.

Screening highlights include Marguerite, Juste la fin du monde, The Gardener, Mes nuits feront echo, Nitro Rush, Demain, Quebec My Country Mon Pays, and Le peuple interdit.

Festivities take place at the Coquitlam Evergreen Cultural Centre (February 1), Auditorium Jules-Verne (February 2-5), Alliance française (February 7), and SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts (February 8-12).
