Cast of The Real Housewives of Vancouver revealed
Vancouver’s role in the movie-making biz has long given the city the moniker of “Hollywood North”, but will a new reality television series make Vancouver even more comparable to SoCal?
The Real Housewives of Vancouver—a spinoff of the popular Real Housewives series that has been set in Orange County, New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Miami, and D.C. —will premiere on the Slice channel on April 4. The identities of the five Vancouver “stars” were recently revealed, and it doesn’t get more blonde, tanned, and Botoxed than this.
In a promotional video, where the five women introduce themselves, West Vancouver’s Jody Claman says, “I wish god just gave me one personality, but I have many depending on the situation.” Meanwhile, Reiko MacKenzie, who raises two daughters in Shaughnessy, says that she “loves luxurious, beautiful things… fashion, cars”. Mary Zilba, a single mom in Yaletown, says that she was a Canadian pop star for more than 10 years with seven top-40 hits. Ronnie Seterdahl Negus is a mother of five and a winery owner, and perhaps the most outrageous of them all, Cristina Kiesel, claims that she’s 29 years old and that her “primary source of income is two divorces”.
Do you think that these women represent “real housewives” in Vancouver, and more importantly, will you be watching the show?

Housewives do housework, negotiate with their partners for and against oral sex, shove kids in their room and tell them to come out when they can be quiet, gossip about their friends in FB posts. Oh wait, I live in Surrey, where the real people live.

oh boy
on the prowler for a vancouver man? yikes
All this does is reinforce how classless,narcissistic,me-centered,gold-digger women are in Vancouver.
2 divorces but 8 Marriages?
OOOooo Who get to be the lucky guy that gets to pick her????
Enjoy your nightmare!

Shouldn't the "Housewives" be married (still MARRIED) to famous men ie: Athletes,Counts,Prince,Tycoon,Celebrity like the other shows.
Not just divocrees that are ONLY living the life because of the Alimony Cheque?
They aren't housewives,
just the "Real Typical Divorcees of Vancouver" for other young women to admire and follow steps of. (oh guys ..you are in trouble BIG TIME)
BIG Cash!
How about a show that showcases their EX Husbands
"Ex-husbands with Now empty wallets of Vancouver"
I'd watch that!!!

Ummm, no, they don't represent "real housewives" in Vancouver, but I'm betting the "housewives" from Atlanta, New York, New Jersey, Miami and D.C. don't exactly represent those places either. No one would watch a show about hard-working, middle-class, family-oriented mothers who raise their own children and work a 9-5 (although the women on this show probably should, and learn a thing or two).
