Kathy Griffin joked last night that she and Anderson Cooper on CNN were mere "counterprogramming", which was why they never had a chance to rehearse their New Year's Eve shtick.

It was a sly reference to Ryan Seacrest, who is the new Dick Clark on ABC's annual end-of-the-year show.

Griffin was, nevertheless, highly entertaining, particularly when she tried to give Cooper a mock blowjob.

In the video above, she tells PSY that he has money coming out of his rear end.

PSY replies that it means a lot hearing these words from Griffin.
