Jack Hunter

Went hunting last week and shot four pintail ducks. While I was sitting and hiding in the root ball of a washed up tree I had huge flocks of dunlins come and swoop river and around me. what an amazing dance. Out over the water they sweep and swoosh and alternate from dark to light as they dance in the air. Then I met another hunter. It flew in and sat on the log 4 metres away from me. A sharp-shinned hawk had a still live dunlin in its claws and was trying to eat it when another hawk flew at him and tried to steal it from him.

Do you even know what a confession is?
No one cares . Leave the animals alone.
I'd like to take a shot at you.

Weekends seem to be *the* time to slip the non-confession confessions in.

Such a nice natural setting you described. What did it look like after you shot all the animals?

"Such a nice natural setting you described. What did it look like after you shot all the animals?"

Considering that there are between 30 and 40,000 pintails out there, never mind the widgeons and mallards, there wasn't much change.

Enjoy your slaughterhouse chicken.

I give you props for a unique confession. Perhaps you could whittle it into a poem and it could be posted in trains/busses?

You go Jack. Sounds like a lot of fun. Ignore the scaredy cats who are afraid of everything. Wish I could have been there.
