That man who stands at the corner of Commercial and Broadway SCREAMING about the Bible. Jesus f****ing Christ, I hate that guy.

The best part is his yellow hands from the hand rolled smokes he devours all day. I can see and hear him from my balcony ever second day.
Women get freaked out by him but he's harmless. Never touches anybody just rants.
Let him rant.

This is complex.
Much more so than just an irritating loud man on the street corner.
What would motivate him to do that?
An inner fear and angst for the ongoing loss in our general humanity, the degradations of society around the planet? Fear of his eternal fate as defined by his belief system?
Many other speculative reasons,( but who knows.)
The emotional fire within that would drive an individual to do that daily without material reward...perhaps without any kind of reward or personal connect at all....there's gotta be some kind of powerful propellant behind it all.
Certainly the man agonizes. He's in a pain of his own, humiliating himself in a public space like that.
That he creates an emotional effect within you tells us something's going on, something's registering.
Even if the message you receive ain't Biblical, you are experiencing a response within, and that means his communication is hitting home in some form or other.
Perhaps for him, the worst thing is people who don't even register that he's there. Don't hear, don't see, don't feel, don't think. No emotions.
That's a total loss for him.
Maybe for you, this man is simply part of the conflicts in environment, like Police sirens, street people asking for money, loud motorcycles....etc.
It never ends.
Yet...he triggers a lasting reaction within you.
Nothing to do with his religion, it may be something personal within you worth examining, and trying to understand why.
You might discover something inside that makes you a stronger and more humane individual, without actually having to buy somebody else's religion.
In that regard, both you and he would win.

...Or maybe he is ranting because he is kitty corner to the women's clinic. They come out in droves on Friday.
