Self love can be confused with narassiam but why can’t you love yourself when you have no one else who wants too

I look at myself in the mirror, I see what I hold. I see my blue eyes, full of kindness and strength. I see my lips natural soft, just like the words they produce. I see my body, how it carries me through out my life. I look at myself every morning and I know I am beautiful. I know I have a beauty many others don’t have within them and outside of them. I’m a kind good person, I love too much and I think too much. I feel peoples feelings without them needing to speak of them. I see myself at night. Standing in the mirror thinking why. Why can’t someone love me? I love everything about me and I know am beautiful. I see the way men stare at me, how strangers approach me and tell me what they need to say cause I have that soul. I have the soul of holding broken hearts and making them feel whole, even if it’s for a brief second. So why can’t someone love me the way I love others, the world, myself. I just want to be whole heartedly loved.

Not everyone is capable of love let alone loving whole heartedly. Most people that want to be loved whole heartedly usually don't have it to reciprocate in return. Those of us that are capable of loving whole heartedly have learned better than to love/trust anyone like that again; especially if they seem to be a little too thirsty for it. Some people will drain another person's emotional energy dry. That's the world. That's life.

You can love yourself all you want. But like someone else said, there’s a difference between loving yourself and being self-obsessed. If you’re vain and others are noticing that, it’s a very unattractive quality. So maybe it’s how you’re coming across to other people that you need to examine if you want to be able to truly connect with them.

You said it yourself - "you think too much"... and you think too much about yourself. People don't fall in love to validate the other person's feelings. People fall in love because the person they love make them a better person. You don't need the other person to know how good you are, you need to help them see how good they are!
I'm certain you are the good person you say you are. Your time will come. In the meantime, just take that love you have and shower the whole world, and then one day when you least expect it....BOOM!!!
